Annual   Expo   /   Show

Our 2016 show will take place on the weekend of July 16-17 at the Garden State Exhibit & Convention Center, 50 Atrium Drive in Somerset, NJ.

The Garden State Cat Club will celebrate its 80th anniversary with the 2016 CAT EXPO. Our proposed activities will draw the general public to the CAT EXPO and also inform and educate them about the world of cats. It is a great opportunity to bring your products to the attention of the cat loving people.

Cats In Cars are back!!

Cats In Cars will be back at this year's Expo! They're too adorable to miss. See therapy cats Waffle and Tirzah riding around in their personalized car in the show hall. Stop and have a chat with them.

The Expo is designed to educate the cat owning public about cats, cat care, new products and training, while assisting area shelters with its Adopt-A-Cat. The event will be complimented by the club's annual cat show. One of the top five cat shows held in the United States, it is the largest in New Jersey. It is also our club's major fund-raiser so we can continue to support cats in many ways. Who do we help? Please Read more!

The Adopt-A-CAT and show have a history of drawing many visitors from the New York-New Jersey Metro area and all of the Mid-Atlantic States. Exhibitors come from across the United States with most from the East Coast. In recent years, several thousand people have attended the 2-day show.

The EXPO will present activities and seminars that will educate the pet owner; encourage children to own, love, and care for cats; and discuss keys to successful feral cat colonies. The list to the right is a brief outline of projected activities.
